SYNOPSIS
Todd is different and the other kids at school have noticed. When unexcused absences start piling up after a run-in with several bullies the Principal discovers a disturbing book in Todd's locker and fears a retaliation. He calls on Todd's sister Charlene to facilitate an intervention with the troubled boy, but quickly learns the help Todd needs may require a sacrifice he's unwilling to make.

CHARLENE OWENS
SOREN JIMMIE WILLIAMS is an actor and model. She has appeared on stage in productions such as Footloose, Descendants, and Matilda. Williams has starred in short films including 'Mrs. Hunter is Dead' and 'Toad Boy.' She lives in Oak Park, Illinois with her mother, brother and two French bulldogs and enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time with friends.

TODD OWENS
TAMIR TUCKER started acting at age 7 when he saw his mother perform and decided to follow her footsteps. His first film role came one year later in Mark Harris's movie 'White people Money' on Starz TV. He was hooked. He soon secured an agent and continued his career with the BET+ movie 'The Final Say.' He also has a supporting role in 'The Wayez' and a leading role in 'The Auntie.' Tamir hopes to continue his acting career and aspires to one day direct his own movie!

PHILLIP J. McLAUGHLIN is a filmmaker from the Midwest. He started his career in animation, co-creating series like 'Destructo Box' and 'Game Program Attack!' for Mondo Media and Machinima before making the successful shift to television and independent film.
As an editor he’s worked on high-profile series for networks such as Netflix, AMC, Hulu, CBS, Adult Swim, and Freeform. 'Toad Boy' is his directorial debut, followed up by episode 809 of 'Fear the Walking Dead' airing in November of 2023.
Additionally, Phillip is a contributing editor and producer for the independent sci-fi/horror literary magazine ‘Dark Matter Magazine’ and its horror trade imprint Dark Matter INK.
When he’s not working, Phillip enjoys watching horror movies and making his three children laugh.
